Recoup WWHRS at City Plumbing Energy Efficiency Centre Farnborough
Recoup is very happy to be part of City Plumbing’s Energy Efficiency Centre at their Farnborough Branch. This innovative and unique facility is the first of its kind in the UK and combines a renewable energy technology showroom and training centre.
What’s at the Energy Efficiency Centre?
Included in the Energy Efficiency Centre is an area promoting the energy-saving and carbon-reducing benefits of Waste Water Heat Recovery for Showers (WWHRS). There are full displays for the Recoup Pipe HEX and Recoup Easyfit+ WWHRS products. The Recoup Pipe HEX display shows a shortened version of the vertical WWHRS below a section of a shower tray and alongside an SVP. This is just as it would be when installed on-site with all relevant pipework for the delivery of preheated water carrying the exchanged heat energy. Likewise, the Recoup Easyfit+ is shown installed below a bath which has had the corner removed to reveal the WWHRS unit below. Both provide customers with a clear visual of how the systems are installed alongside the shower and in the property.
What will the Centre Do?
The showroom also boasts a selection of other low-carbon technologies from other industry manufacturers. This makes it possible for the Energy Efficiency Centre to provide expert advice and information on the best products and solutions for City Plumbing customers. At Farnborough all of this is overseen by a Energy Efficiency Centre Showroom Manager, Debra Boucher, who is on-site to assist and provide guidance.
