Recoup has been supplying Waste Water Heat Recovery for Showers (WWHRS) to National housebuilders since the business started over 11 years ago. As sole WWHRS suppliers for 10 years to Barratts Developments (the UKs largest housebuilder) we have positioned ourselves as the partner of choice for many of the top 20 UK National Housebuilders. Developers and specifiers who are looking for the most cost-effective route to new energy efficiency building regulation compliance (Part L 2021), which fully transistions in June 2023. Are looking to WWHRS as a product that is both simple to design-in, simple for end-users to understand, and simple to integrate into their existing installation and supply chains.

National Housebuilders WWHRS Supplier

2023 has seen Recoup re-sign supply agreements with Redrow Homes and signed framework agreements with Barratt Developments until 2025.

We are also incredibly proud to announce that we have now signed Sole-supplier Framework agreements with Avant Homes. As well as being the preferred supplier for Places for People, and their associated brands, all of whom plan to use Recoup WWHRS as part of their Standard Part L 2021 specification. Others are set to follow over the coming months and we have been working with the technical and product teams for nearly all of the main UK National housebuilders. Modelling and integrating WWHRS into their house types alongside other energy-saving and carbon-reducing technologies.

Getting Ready for June 2023

As the only UK company focused solely on WWHRS, the team at Recoup are working hard to ensure they, and their merchant supply partners, are ready to provide the WWHRS products all National housebuilders will need from June this year. We are actively building stocks of the Recoup Pipe HEX with our National merchant supply partners PTS, City Plumbing, Wolseley,  UKPS, Jewson and Travis Perkins, as well as new Regional merchant suppliers: James Hargreaves and Huws Gray.

With Regional housebuilders, SME builders and Self-builders all facing the same Building Regulation requirements from June 2023. We are very happy to provide the same technical and design-in support for regional teams as we do for National housebuilders.
