Waste shower water enters the Recoup HeatDeck with around 85% to 90% of its original heat energy. The heat exchanger within the WWHRS unit efficiently transfers heat energy to incoming mains cold water producing preheated water. The shower waste water leaves the Recoup HeatDeck to the SVP and the preheated water is sent to the shower and / or water heater. The use of preheated water reduces the demand for hot water and saves energy.
Watch the video below to see how the Recoup HeatDeck works and the three installation methods for TMV showers.

Mira Heatloop™ Electric Showers
Recoup WWHRS products are compatible with the Mira Heatloop™ electric shower range. For user safety do not connect Recoup WWHRS to any other electric shower.
When installing Recoup WWHRS with a Mira Heatloop™ electric shower the preheated water is sent to the cold water connection. As the preheated water increases in temperature the energy consumption reduces. For more information visit our Mira Heatloop™ product page.
