Out of the nine categories at the Housebuilder Product Awards, Recoup was nominated in the ‘Best Services’ category and received a special additional award for its work in the sustainable building industry for its Waste Water Heat Recovery System for showers.

The Highly Commended Award which was presented to Recoup Directors Ian Steward and Kieron Dudley, is the third award to be presented to the team and now sits alongside the ‘Best New Product Award’ from Barratt Developments and the winner of the ‘Product category’ at the SWIG Awards.

“Our congratulations go to Polypipe Ventilation who pipped us to the post with their Domus Green Line rigid duct bends. Although we didn’t win we’re more than happy to have received special recognition for our successful Recoup Pipe+ HE waste water heat recovery unit,” commented Kieron.

Additional winners included ARC Building Solutions for ‘Best Brand New Product’ for its ARC Eaves Insulator, along with winning in the ‘Best Building Fabric’ category for its ARC T-Barrier. The ‘Best Site Product’ Award went to Monier Redland for its Innofix Clip, whilst Ideal Standard won the ‘Kitchens and Bathrooms’ category for AquaBlade. Other winners included NHBC and Saint-Gobain Weber.

The winners of the awards were revealed on Thursday 29th June at Edgbaston Stadium in Birmingham, to recognise excellence and innovation in the products and services supplied to the housebuilding industry. The awards were hosted by the Reverend Richard Coles – musician, journalist and Church of England priest.
